After so many months of closure it seems that we are close to meeting again… And now more than ever we are still committed to art.
You know that our mission is always to surprise you, and for this very reason we are pleased to announce that there will be several novelties this season. One of them is a very special commission to the Cantabrian designer/sculptor Paco Entrena. At Hotel Cuevas we continue to support the art and artists of our land.
Francisco Entrena or commonly known as ‘Paco Entrena‘ was born in Nájera (La Rioja), but he arrived in Torrelavega when he was only three years old. His true vocation is drawing, and although he began his career in Architecture, he soon changed his studies to the field of design and decoration.
Paco Entrena is a very prestigious Cantabrian designer, known all over the world. His works have spread to places like New York, Havana, Helsinki or Kualumpur.
Entrena’s intention in this new work, is to bet on the art putting value in the love for nature. This way, his work has been created using part of the original environment in which we find ourselves so that you can connect, feel and experience the sculpture from the inside. It is not about contemplating the work as we are used to, but about feeling part of it, interacting and having a feeling of height.
The only thing we can say is that our idea of ‘Betting on art‘ gives shape to a common concept that connects different works within our establishment, and that in this case, shows the rebirth of our natural environment. We are sure that you will not be indifferent to any of our novelties. Very soon we will reveal the name of the sculpture and the exciting story that surrounds it.
