It is located next to the top station of the Fuente Dé cable car, Camaleño, and offers abysmal views of the Picos de Europa and the Cantabrian Mountains.

Viewpoint of Castro de El Cincho

Less than 1 kilometre from Santillana del Mar, in the town of Yuso, is the archaeological site of the El Cincho hill fort.
This archaeological site is located at a height of 273m on Mount Cincho, whose name comes from the Latin cingo and means to protect or cover. This place has privileged views from which you can see beyond the geographical limits of Cantabria, which is why it was chosen to be the site of one of the main forts of the pre-Roman Cantabrian people.
