Yellow Day

Yellow Day is approaching at Hotel Cuevas and we want to celebrate it with you, because what better occasion than to enjoy and celebrate all those things that make us happy; a special person, a connection with nature, a song or a memory from our childhood.

The origin of this day dates back to 2006 when Cliff Arnall, the creator of Blue Monday (the saddest day of the year) set out to find a mathematical formula to also identify the happiest day of the year.
This psychologist invented an equation to explain why Yellow Day is celebrated on 20 June: O+(NxS)+Cpm/T+He.

The combination of these letters makes up everything you can find at Hotel Cuevas;

  • O for Outdoor: our chill-out pool area, where you can enjoy the outdoors in the unique environment that surrounds the hotel.
  • N for Nature: enter a world of nature and music that will take you deep into your innermost being next to our impressive 20-metre high bicentennial eucalyptus tree.
  • S for Social: our team, always ready to make you feel at home.
  • Cpm for Childhood summer memories: memories like the one that the artist Aris Rosino transmitted with his work belonging to the series ‘history repeats itself’ and which decorates our facilities and makes the mind fly.
  • T de Temperature: the arrival of the summer solstice is the perfect time to enjoy our cocktails or a relaxing bath in our outdoor jacuzzi.
  • He for Holiday excitement: prepare your holidays and choose a hotel where you can escape and disconnect from the routine.

As you can see, there are many reasons to celebrate this great day with us. Don’t you think that the beauty of it all is knowing how to make the most of each of our days? At Hotel Cuevas we are experts in providing our guests with unique and special stays.
